Certification
Greening Testing Laboratories is the only lab in the world to conduct D3EA® testing (Dual Dynamometer Differential Effectiveness Analysis). D3EA® certification meets the highest standard for brake pads, shoes, rotors, and drums resulting in greater customer satisfaction and confidence. D3EA® takes the guess-work out of defining/determining the proper combination of front and rear brake compounds, which ultimately impacts vehicle handling and stopping distance performance.
Greening also provides AMECA Certified Safety Equipment test reports on Brake Linings, Synthetic Webbing and Load Binders, and Trailer Hitches.
Replacement Brake Pad Performance Evaluation Project
NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF JUSTICE / MICHIGAN STATE POLICEThe National Institute of Justice (NIJ) National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center (NLECTC) is pleased to announce its fourth comprehensive evaluation of replacement brake pads for police patrol vehicles. The goal is to provide law enforcement agencies across the country with information that will help them make informed decisions regarding replacement brake pads. This program is being administered by the Michigan State Police (MSP) Vehicle Test Team and entails two test stages. Stage One is an FMVSS 135 based inertia dynamometer laboratory performance screening test, and Stage Two will be conducted on vehicles in two steps consisting of high speed straight-line braking and pursuit-style driving. Companies with registered business addresses in the United States or Canada and experience with high performance brakes and/or friction materials are invited to submit samples. Greening Testing Laboratories, Inc. is assisting in the program execution and administration. Details and related product submission forms are available by clicking on the following link: www.greeninginc.com/NIJ-MSP Brake Pad Project. EUROBRAKE 2012 Technical Presentation
Nonlinear Elasticity in Brake Friction MaterialsGreening will be an active participant at the inaugural EuroBrake 2012 event, which is to be held
in Dresden, Germany on April 16-18.
EuroBrake is a congress and exhibition planned by FISITA, and will will focus on the most
recent developments for friction materials and braking systems. It will feature an array of
industry professionals who will be presenting at the conference,
including Chuck Greening
(EB2012-TM-18).
