Model 1250/1252
The Greening Model 1250/1252 Inertia Brake Dynamometer provides laboratory facilities for the development and performance testing of brake assemblies with special emphasis on the requirements for testing according to SAE, FMVSS, ISO, EEC, ECE and JASO recommended practices and regulations. This machine is a sophisticated unit that is designed to be both ergonomic and economical. The rugged cast iron machine base houses the drive motor that creates a compact tabletop design. A vertical brake cooling air system facilitates brake set-up by creating a large working area.
·
Available in single-ended, dual-ended, and "twin" dynamometer
configurations. ·
A
rotational inertia system provides the stored energy for deceleration
conditions. The dynamometer drive motor provides required torques
for drag conditions and for simulation of grade effects. ·
Latest
digital computer technology is utilized to simplify test setup and
dynamometer conditions with or without grade simulation. ·
This
system incorporates special features to maximize test data accuracy and
reliability. Automatic signal calibration, simultaneous acquisition
of time and distance frame data, and digital/adaptive control "outer
loops" are some of the major features. ·
Full
inertia simulation, inertia "trimming" and uphill/downhill grade
simulation add to test sequence flexibility. ·
The
computer based control system provides for data acquisition, recording,
display, and selective printout of analog "in-stop" and computed
test data and test status information. All data and status
information is available for further analysis on an off-line computer via
an interface with a local area network. ·
The machine is designed for setup by one person and for automatic operation on a 24-hour continuous duty cycle basis. ·
Brake apply pressure or torque control without overshoot of programmed level even at high apply rate conditions. ·
Dual-end dynamometers simulate front and rear brake combinations or a complete
axle. They may be tested simultaneously providing data on the
"load sharing" and brake balance behavior of the two brake
assemblies. ·
Precise
control of brake apply pressure at each end of the dual dynamometer is
achieved with state of the art servo control systems. Ask our
competitors for their instantaneous brake pressure apply data measured at
each test brake and compare the performance! ·
Rebuild/upgrade services available on existing test machines (including those manufactured
by others).
