Friction Materials, Brakes, Transmissions, Components

Established in 1970 as an extension of the business of building special test machines, Greening Testing Laboratories, Inc. (GTL) was the first independent brake and friction material test facility in the U.S.  Over the last 40 years we have been innovators in the areas of test development, data analysis, and methodologies for the transportation industries.  GTL continues to push the technology envelope, simulating "in service" environments in the laboratory. We are committed to continuous improvement by re-investing and updating our facilities, enabling us to provide our clients the most accurate and cost effective engineering test services available.  Greening personnel actively participate in numerous American and International technical societies and committees involved with developing test procedures and performance standards for automotive components and assemblies.

GTL is active in or accredited by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the American Society for Testing and Material (ASTM), the Automotive Manufacturers Equipment Compliance Agency (AMECA), and the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA).  We are ISO 17025 Laboratory Accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
